Job Position: Technical Recruiter

Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time, On-site

Overview

  • The Tech Recruiter, also known as a Technical Recruiter, is a specialized HR professional focused on attracting and hiring skilled candidates for technology-related roles such as software developers, engineers, data scientists, cybersecurity specialists, and IT support staff.

Responsibilities


  • Talent Sourcing: Identify potential candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, niche platforms, networking events, and job fairs
  • Screening and Evaluation: Review resumes, assess technical skills, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate technical assessments to ensure candidates meet role requirements
  • Collaboration: Work with hiring managers to understand job requirements, technical skills needed, and team culture
  • Candidate Engagement: Provide feedback, maintain relationships with past applicants, and promote the company’s employer brand
  • Recruitment Process Management: Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, interview scheduling, offer negotiation, and onboarding coordination
  • Industry Awareness: tay updated on technology trends, salary benchmarks, and hiring practices to attract top talent.

Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor`s / Master`s Degree with 4 - 5 years experience.
  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of technical roles, programming languages, software development processes, and IT infrastructure
  • Communication Skills: Ability to clearly convey job requirements, candidate qualifications, and company culture to both candidates and hiring teams.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Build strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and industry professionals
  • Organizational Skills: Manage multiple open positions, track candidate pipelines, and maintain recruitment records efficiently
  • Analytical Skills: Evaluate candidate skills, experience, and cultural fit to make informed hiring decisions.
