We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Talent Capability Development Manager

Location: Nigeria

Purpose

  • To design, implement, and sustain an integrated capability development framework that builds technical, leadership, and functional excellence across the Manufacturing units of FMN Verticals.
  • The role ensures workforce readiness, operational excellence, and continuous learning culture that align with business growth and productivity objectives.

The Job

  • Capability Development Strategy: Develop and execute a multi-year capability roadmap for Manufacturing, Technical, HSE & Quality units across the FMN Verticals in alignment with corporate strategic goals.
  • Leadership & Technical Pipeline Development: Collaborate with HR Business Partners and Plant Managers to identify high-potential technical talents for accelerated development.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Governance: Build partnerships with OEMs, technical institutions, and professional bodies for co-delivery of certification and training programs.
  • Learning Program Design & Delivery: Design and manage structured learning journeys (technical academies, certification programs, apprenticeships, and on-the-job learning).
  • Operational Excellence & Capability Assessment: Develop and manage technical competency matrices and skill gap analyses across all Manufacturing sites.

Qualifications

  • B.Sc Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology, or a related discipline.
  • CIPM, SHRM, or HRCI certification.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5–7 years HR experience, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial capacity.

The Person Must:

  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strategic thinking mindset and experience in developing training roadmaps
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to relate effectively across all levels.
  • Ability to align talent development initiatives with overall business strategy and future needs.
  • Possess strong problem-solving abilities and organizational abilities.
