Job Position: Senior Process Engineer

Job Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Role Description

• This is a full-time, on-site Senior Process Engineer role located in Port Harcourt.
• The Senior Process Engineer will design, implement, and optimize process systems related to oilfield services.

Responsibilities

• Perform, coordinate and supervise all process engineering activities and development of process deliverables.
• Perform project man-hour estimation, review budget and maintain schedule throughout the life cycle of the project
• Ensures that deliverables are produced to the correct level of quality and in accordance with the project plans and procedures.
• Prepare and review process documents (data sheets, specifications, reports/studies and calculation notes) and drawings (P&ID, PFD, PSFD etc.) on projects.
• Prepare and review major process deliverables such as basis of design, process description, process design philosophy, safe chart, etc.
• Set basis/template for process calculation and simulation.
• Perform and review equipment sizing e.g. vessel sizing, PSV, pump sizing, etc.
• Consult specialists in the Process Engineering Field and elsewhere, if applicable.
• Preparation and review of plant operation manuals.
• Review of all piping designs which may affect the process integrity.
• Perform feasibility, alternative evaluation and process planning studies.
• Perform and review process simulation with software such as HYSYS, PIPEHASE, PIPESIM, FLARESIM, FLARENET, and PIPENET.
• Communicate effectively with the discipline team and project stakeholders.
• Represents all process related aspects during pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up and test runs when required
• Establish and maintain good working relationships within FOSL, with its clients and other stakeholders
• Coordinate and participate in PHA, HAZOP and HAZID workshop.
• Performs any other given task assigned to him by lead Engineer.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
• Proven experience in oilfield services or energy sectors is a significant advantage
• Strong expertise in Process Design and Process Engineering
• Proficiency in Process Control to ensure safe and efficient operations
• Advanced Analytical Skills, including problem-solving and data interpretation
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
