Job Title: Land Surveyor
Location: Anyigba, Kogi
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct land and site surveys to determine boundaries, elevations, and contours.
- Perform setting out of construction works in accordance with approved drawings.
- Take accurate measurements for site layout, leveling, and positioning.
- Work closely with engineers, architects, and site teams to ensure correct project alignment.
- Operate and maintain survey equipment (i.e. GPS, leveling instruments, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with surveying standards and safety regulations.
- Maintain proper documentation and survey records.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret survey data for project planning and execution.
- Prepare survey reports, maps, and drawings.
- Ensure accuracy of all measurements and survey outputs.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree/HND in Surveying, Geomatics or related field.
- 3–5 years relevant experience in land surveying within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of land surveying principles and site setting out.
- Proficiency in the use of survey equipment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong sense of responsibility and professionalism.
- Familiarity with surveying software and data processing tools.
- Good understanding of construction site operations.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
