Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team.
• The ideal candidate will support day-to-day financial operations, ensure accuracy in financial records, and assist with reporting and compliance in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions
• Reconcile bank statements and company accounts
• Process invoices, payments, and expense reports
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies
• Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation
• Monitor financial data and identify discrepancies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualification:

• ICAN certification or ACA (in view or completed) is an added advantage.
