Operations Analyst

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time (3 days onsite)

About the Role

• You will play a key role in ensuring efficient trade processing, accurate reporting, and smooth day-to-day operational activities.
• We are looking to hire a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Analyst with 2–3 years of relevant experience to support our investment operations. This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, adaptable, and excited about contributing to the growth of a dynamic asset management firm.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with audits and provide necessary operational documentation
• Maintain and update client account records and documentation
• Identify gaps in processes and contribute to building efficient operational systems
• Handle corporate actions (dividends, bonus issues, etc.) and ensure proper allocation
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of portfolios and accounts
• Process and monitor trades, ensuring timely and accurate settlement
• Liaise with custodians, brokers, and other counterparties to resolve issues
• Support compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls

Requirements

• Good understanding of investment operations and financial instruments
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and reconciliation skills
• 2-3 years’ experience in operations within asset management, banking, or financial services
• High attention to detail and strong organizational ability
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
