Job Title: Human Resources Business Partner / Payroll Specialist

Location: Abuja (FCT), Ajaokuta - Kogi and Kaduna
Employment Type: Full-time
Industry: Manaufacturing
Reporting to: CHRM

Role Description

  • This is a full-time on-site role located in Kogi for a Human Resources Business Partner/ Payroll Specialist.
  • In this role, you will be responsible for managing HR strategies, developing and implementing HR policies, facilitating employee relations, and ensuring compliance with labor and employment laws.
  • Your role will also involve providing guidance to employees and managers to enhance organizational effectiveness and productivity.
  • You will handle performance management systems, support management in workforce planning, and cultivate a positive organizational culture.

Qualifications

  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Experience in creating and implementing HR Policies and strategies.
  • Proficiency in core Human Resources (HR) functions such as recruitment, onboarding, and training.
  • Knowledge of Labor and Employment Law to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Expertise in Performance Management to drive employee engagement and development.
  • Experience in social commerce, data-driven organizations, or technology industries is a plus.
  • Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPM, CIPD) is an advantage.
  • Experience in Payroll Administration.
  • Strong skills in Employee Relations, fostering a collaborative and inclusive workplace.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
