Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Summary

  • The role contributes to attracting, evaluating, and onboarding qualified candidates while ensuring a seamless and efficient recruitment experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
  • The HR Recruiting Coordinator Intern is responsible for supporting Talent Acquisition initiatives by assisting with candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, recruitment administration, and hiring processes.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in continuous improvement & employee engagement initiatives.
  • Support in maintaining new employee files and Human Resources records to support future activity.
  • Ensure compliance with the Data Privacy and Protection Guidelines and relevant legislation.
  • Support in maintaining requisition and advertising databases.
  • Support in coordinating career fairs and university engagements.
  • Support in coordinating the hiring process for new recruits, including pre-employment screening, travel, relocation.
  • Continuous communication with candidates on application statues and queries.
  • Maintain a good grasp of Talent Acquisition and HR issues.
  • Organize the logistics for all assessment sessions.

Experiences & Exposures

  • Ability to learn quickly and translate learning into practical solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, or any related management science or social science field of study.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to use own initiative.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft office tools.
  • Must have completed NYSC.
  • A recent graduate not more than 2years post-graduation.
