Job Title: Head of Sales & Revenue

Location: Remote

Job Summary

  • The successful candidate will own the company’s revenue strategy, develop repeatable sales processes, drive customer acquisition, improve customer retention, and build a high-performing sales organization.
  • Our client is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Head of Sales & Revenue to build and scale SaaS sales engine from the ground up.
  • This role is ideal for someone who understands SaaS metrics such as Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), Net Revenue Retention (NRR), Customer Lifetime Value (LTV), Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), and Customer Churn, and can translate strategy into measurable business growth.

Key Responsibilities
Revenue Strategy:

  • Develop and execute the company’s overall revenue growth strategy.
  • Identify new revenue opportunities and expansion channels.
  • Own monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
  • Build predictable and scalable recurring revenue.

Sales Leadership:

  • Establish forecasting and pipeline management processes.
  • Develop sales playbooks, KPIs, and performance dashboards.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and lead high-performing sales professionals.
  • Build the company’s SaaS sales function from scratch.

Customer Acquisition:

  • Negotiate and close high-value customer contracts.
  • Design outbound and inbound sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to optimize lead generation.
  • Build enterprise and mid-market sales pipelines.

Customer Success & Retention:

  • Develop strategies to reduce customer churn.
  • Partner with Customer Success to improve onboarding and customer experience.
  • Improve Net Revenue Retention (NRR).
  • Increase customer retention and account expansion.

Performance Management:

  • Produce regular revenue forecasts and executive reports:
  • Monitor key SaaS metrics including:
    • Sales Cycle Length
    • Pipeline Coverage
    • NRR (Net Revenue Retention)
    • CAC
    • MRR (Monthly Recurring Revenue)
    • Churn Rate
    • ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue)
    • Win Rate
    • LTV

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Support pricing and packaging decisions.
  • Work closely with Product, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success teams.
  • Provide market intelligence to guide product development.

Requirements
Education:

  • MBA is an added advantage.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.

Experience:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a Player-Coach leadership role.
  • Demonstrated experience building SaaS sales teams from scratch.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in SaaS sales.
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding revenue targets.
