We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Secretary (Legal Document Specialist)

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Contract

Job Description

  • We are looking for a highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive professional to provide executive support to the Managing Partner while ensuring all legal and corporate documents meet the firm's formatting, branding, and quality standards before external circulation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support lawyers with document quality assurance and presentation.
  • Review, proofread, edit, and professionally format legal documents.
  • Provide executive and administrative support to the Managing Partner.
  • Coordinate document production, filing, and office administration.
  • Ensure consistency with the firm's document templates and brand standards.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and meeting materials.

Requirements

  • Proximity to Ikoyi / V.I / Lekki / Ajah will be prioritised.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.
  • Experience in a law firm or professional services environment is an advantage.
  • 2–4 years' experience as an Executive Assistant, Legal Secretary, Executive Secretary, or in a similar role.
  • Advanced Microsoft Word skills (Styles, Track Changes, Table of Contents, Section Breaks, Cross References, etc.).
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, English, Law, Office Technology & Management, Secretarial Administration, Mass Communication, or a related field.
  • A proactive, resourceful, and meticulous professional who thrives in a forward-thinking environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality work while maintaining confidentiality and supporting executive leadership.
  • Excellent proofreading, editing, communication, organisational, and time management skills.

Salary
N200,000 - N300,000 per month.
