About the Role
- We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Head of Audit to lead our internal audit function.
- This is a senior leadership role with direct influence on the integrity, efficiency, and growth of our business.
- You will set the standard for governance, compliance, and operational excellence across all branches.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive audit plans across finance, operations, and compliance
- Evaluate processes, identify risks, and recommend improvements to strengthen controls and performance
- Conduct high-level audits on financial records, procurement, inventory, and operational procedures
- Prepare and present actionable insights and reports to executive management
- Mentor and develop the audit team, building a culture of accountability and excellence
- Ensure company-wide adherence to policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices
- Partner with management to drive strategic decisions and safeguard company assets
Requirements
- Extensive audit experience, including leadership of audit teams in complex organizations
- Professional qualification (ICAN, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent)
- Deep understanding of retail operations and internal controls
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong leadership presence, integrity, and the ability to influence at all levels
