Job Position: Farm Supervisor
Job Location: Owerri / Obosima - Imo

Job Description
- Supervise and coordinate daily farm operations with primary focus on poultry production
- Manage poultry activities including feeding, watering, egg collection, brooding, and general bird care
- Monitor bird health, identify signs of disease or stress, and ensure timely vaccination and medication
- Enforce strict biosecurity and hygiene practices to prevent disease outbreaks
- Maintain cleanliness of poultry houses, equipment, and surrounding environment
- Supervise farm workers, assign tasks, and monitor performance and attendance
- Train staff on proper poultry handling, safety procedures, and farm best practices
- Monitor feed usage, prevent wastage, and ensure adequate supply of feed and medications
- Keep accurate records of egg production, mortality rates, feed consumption, and treatments administered
- Oversee minor crop activities such as planting, irrigation, and harvesting to support farm operations
- Supervise basic fishery activities including feeding, pond maintenance, and water monitoring.
- Ensure proper use and routine maintenance of farm equipment and machinery
- Implement and enforce health and safety standards across all farm operations
- Assist in cost control by minimizing waste and improving operational efficiency
- Prepare and submit regular reports on farm performance and productivity
- Ensure compliance with company policies and standard agricultural practices
Requirements / Qualifications
- Minimum of OND / HND / BSc in Agriculture or related field.
- Proven experience in farming or agricultural supervision.
- Knowledge of crop production and/or livestock management.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Basic record-keeping and reporting ability.
- Willingness to relocate to the farm location if not resident in Imo State.
