The Infrastructure Bank Plc was established in 1992 under decree No. 51 of the 1992 constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The Infrastructure Bank Plc is Nigeria's dedicated infrastructure bank providing financial solutions to support key long term infrastructure projects, including transportation infrastructure, municipal common services, mass housing and district development, solid waste management and water provision, and power and renewable energy projects. The Infrastructure Bank Plc has a unique ownership structure. It is majority owned by the private sector but also has the Federal Government, State Governments and Local Governments as well as the Nigeria Labour Congress as shareholders. The Bank is thus a government sponsored but private sector led development finance institution.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Executive Assistant to the MD / CEO

Location: Abuja

Job Description

  • The Executive Assistant to the MD/CEO will provide high-level executive and administrative support, ensuring the smooth operation of the MD’s office.
  • The role requires exceptional organisation, discretion, and the ability to manage complex schedules, coordinate high-level engagements, and handle sensitive communications while serving as a key liaison with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the MD/CEO’s calendar, meetings, and travel arrangements.
  • Coordinate Board and committee meetings, including documentation and follow-ups.
  • Handle correspondence, draft communications, and prepare executive briefs.
  • Maintain records, filing systems, and office administration processes.
  • Track action points and ensure timely follow-up across departments.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Serve as liaison between the MD/CEO and internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate high-level visits, events, and protocol engagements.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences, or related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and collaboration tools.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience supporting senior executives.
  • Experience managing C-suite offices and Board coordination is an advantage.
