Job Title: Environmental Manager
Locations: New Office - Abuja (FCT) and Head Office - Lagos

Job Summary
- We are currently seeking a highly competent and experienced professional to join our team as Environmental Manager.
- The Environmental Manager will lead our environmental projects, ensure full regulatory compliance, and drive sustainable solutions for clients across oil & gas, industrial, government and private sectors.
- This is a strategic role responsible for overseeing Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), waste management initiatives, environmental studies, Laboratory operations co-ordination and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIAs), environmental audits, and monitoring projects.
- Manage multidisciplinary project teams and ensure timely, high-quality project delivery.
- Liaise with regulatory agencies (e.g., NESREA, NUPRC, FMEnv) to secure approvals and maintain compliance.
- Support business development through technical proposals and client engagement.
- Champion sustainability and renewable energy initiatives within the organization.
- Develop and implement robust environmental management systems, EMP and policies.
- Oversee waste management programs, including design and execution of treatment and remediation solutions.
- Coordinate environmental studies, baseline surveys, and pollution control projects.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s degree an advantage) in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven track record of managing environmental projects in Nigeria, preferably in the oil & gas or industrial sectors.
- Excellent leadership, communication, report-writing, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and deliver under pressure.
- Willingness to travel and work across project locations.
- Minimum of 5 years verifiable post-qualification experience in environmental services.
- Strong expertise in EIA/ESIA, Waste Management, Environmental Studies, or Environmental Project Management.
- Professional certifications (e.g., IEMA, NESREA, NEBOSH, or equivalent) will be an added advantage.
