Job Description

• Lead a multi-discipline Dry Dock Team in the safe and timely completion of the dry dock scope of work and assist the Technical Manager to maintain BINL Technical Availability above 90%.

Responsibilities

• Manage the preventative and corrective maintenance activities for vessels assigned to him.
• Manage the different technical teams assigned to the dry dock project to ensure that the scope of work is completed safely, completely, on time and to a high standard.
• Provide the Reliability Supervisor with daily updates of work progress and highlight any areas of concern relating to quality or schedule.
• Conduct a full condition survey of the vessel before starting a dry dock period and assist in the preparation of the scope of work, detailing the labour, durations and spare parts required.
• Train and develop technical teams under his supervision to give them the skills needed in their daily tasks.

Qualification

• Relevant tertiary qualification and Computer literate.

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the maritime industry in a technical department.
