• Lead evolution of Deel's data governance into a unified asset.
• Design, implement, and improve the Data Governance Framework.
• Ensure data accuracy, security, and readiness for AI/analytics.
• Understand SOX/public company data requirements.
• Lead Data Governance Council; define standards and resolve conflicts.
• Evangelize data as an asset; drive data literacy across the org.

???? Requirements

• 10+ years in Data Management, Governance, or Information Architecture; 5+ in leadership
• Deep understanding of data profiling tools, metadata harvesters, and modern stack (Snowflake, dbt)
• Experience with AI systems in production
• Proven ability to draft Decision Papers and Charters that gain executive buy-in
• Knowledge of DAMA-DMBOK frameworks and data quality lifecycle
• Exceptional ability to translate data risks into business impact for C-suite
