Job Title: Client Advisor Assistant / Relationship Manager (Wealth Management)

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a highly organised, detail-oriented and proactive Analyst to join our Wealth Management division as Client Advisor Assistant.
  • This role is designed to support the relationship managers in the detailed execution of client-related activities and to provide full operational and transactional backing across relationship management functions.
  • The objective of this role is to enable the Client Advisor to focus their time on business development, winning new mandates, converting prospects and deepening strategic client relationships.
  • This is a demanding, fast-paced role requiring exceptional attention to detail, discretion and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong numerical and analytical capability.
  • 1 – 4 years’ experience in wealth management, private banking, asset management, family office or financial services.
  • Proactive, dependable and solutions-focused
  • Highly responsive and service-oriented mindset.
  • BSc Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business or related field.
  • Mature, reliable and professional.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • High proficiency in Excel, including financial modelling and data analysis.
  • Experience preparing client presentations, investment statements, transaction processing.
  • Highly adaptable, able to deal with ambiguity and change
  • Exceptional written and verbal, English language communication skills.
  • Target-driven and results-oriented, able to deliver on time, under pressure
  • Diligent, with excellent attention to detail and high accuracy in reporting.
  • Strong presentation and proposal development skills
  • Proficient in MS Powerpoint & Word.
  • High integrity and able to handle confidential matters with absolute discretion
  • CFA, CFP®, CISI or equivalent designation preferred.
  • Strong understanding of financial products and multi-asset class portfolios.
  • Proficient in MacOS Keynote, Numbers and Pages.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced team with minimal supervision

Key Responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to
Client Support & Relationship Backing:

  • Attend client meetings where required and document follow-up actions.
  • Serve as secondary point of contact for operational client matters.
  • Support the relationship managers in managing day-to-day client interactions and service requirements.
  • Prepare meeting materials, client presentations and portfolio reports.
  • Track and manage client requests to ensure timely and accurate execution.
  • Assist in maintaining detailed client records and documentation.

Portfolio Reporting & Analysis:

  • Coordinate with custodians and platform providers to obtain required data.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of all client-facing reporting materials.
  • Support performance tracking, asset allocation analysis and risk monitoring.
  • Assist in preparing investment research summaries and commentary for clients.

Execution & Operational Coordination:

  • Monitor transaction processing and follow through to settlement confirmation.
  • Liaise with Operations, Compliance, Investment Advisory and external providers to ensure seamless execution.
  • Support client onboarding processes including documentation and compliance requirements.
  • Assist with preparation of subscription documents and capital call notices where applicable.
  • Maintain organised records of mandates, agreements and correspondence.

Business Development Support:

  • Maintain pipeline tracking and follow-up schedules.
  • Provide analytical support during new client conversion processes.
  • Support the Client Advisor in preparing pitch materials for prospective clients.
  • Prepare financial illustrations and proposal documentation.
  • Assist in researching prospects and preparing briefing notes.

Administrative & Process Improvement:

  • Maintain structured filing systems (digital and physical).
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of client experience processes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency and client servicing workflows.
  • Support preparation of internal performance dashboards.

Salary Range
N300,000 - N400,000 / month.
