• You will perform detailed finance work, transactions and data structuring under the guidance of the Finance Manager. You will collect data, be responsible for maintaining information integrity, monitor reconciliations and conduct basic checks and controls.

How you will contribute
You will:

• Contribute to a high-performing Finance team. You will also invest in personal development and the development of your Finance peers
• Execute aspects of finance planning and performance management process and related financial decisions potentially including Annual Contract planning/forecasting, target development, financial performance reporting/analysis, financial modeling and decision support for a focused scope within a region, business unit, country, Supply Chain, Mondel?z International Business Services or Corporate Finance team. You will also execute data collection and data integrity checks
• Execute ad hoc analyses and projects as requested by the Senior Finance Manager (or Director)
• Contribute to a strong controls and compliance environment in area of scope and ensure full compliance with our policies
• Support projects to improve efficiencies and improvements to ways of working and embrace a mindset of continuous improvement

What you need to know about this position:

• A pivotal part of the role is cross functional collaboration within and outside of finance.
• You will support the Senior Manager or Director in data collection to prepare regional submissions, verify assumptions, check daily execution and support delivery of overall objectives and ensure the integrity and timeliness of reporting.
• You will be Senior Analyst in a team responsible for the overall financial integrity and performance of the WA BU , Category and FP&A.

What extra ingredients you will bring:

• Champion SAP analytics cloud and Power BI to share financial data and insights for decision making
• Influence and perform financial modelling for impact of currency devaluation and pricing required to cover inflation and commodity impacts
• Manage aspects for West Africa that will include Month End close, Rolling forecast, Marketing Spend, OIE and other submissions as required.
• Help the senior manager and the business prepare critical financial data and insight that enable perspectives for business strategies and decisions
• Support the local FD, MD as required
• Contribute to a high-performing Finance team. You will also invest in personal development and the development of Finance peers and drive our Finance talent agenda within the organization, with a focus on local FP&A pipeline
• Ensure a strong controls and compliance environment in your area of scope and ensure full compliance with our policies
• Support the SKU rationalization, sufficiency, 9 box analysis as and when required
• Assist P&L analysis and reporting for Sub-Saharan Africa. This includes Month End close, Rolling forecast, Marketing Spend, OIE, Regional Submissions and liaising with key stakeholders
• Manage and execute aspects of finance planning and performance management process and related financial decisions potentially including Strategic Plan and Annual Contract planning/forecasting, target development, financial performance reporting/analysis, financial modelling and decision support for a focused scope within for Sub-Saharan Africa.

Requirements
Education / Certifications:

• 4 – 6 years in a similar role within FMCG or Manufacturing Environment
• University Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics with ICAN or ACCA Qualification or working towards the qualification

Job specific requirements:

• Process Management
• Should ideally have worked for a multinational company
• SAP and Hyperion experience advantageous
• Must be able to process large quantities of data in short spaces of time
• Strong business and interpersonal savvy
• Customer Focused and consumer-centric
• Proficient Excel / Power BI skills
