Job Title: Bakery Manager

Location: Surulere, Lagos

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Bakery Managerto support daily bakery operations.
  • The role involves executing production plans, ensuring product quality, minimizing waste, and supervising production staff to meet set targets efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe work environment and minimize workplace incidents
  • Monitor and control waste levels and support waste reduction initiatives
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of bakery equipment
  • Supervise production staff to ensure efficiency, discipline, and performance
  • Support efforts towards achieving revenue and profitability targets
  • Escalate production challenges and provide timely updates to the Production Manager
  • Execute approved production plans and schedules as directed by the Production Manager
  • Track production activities and ensure accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reporting
  • Ensure all products meet defined quality and presentation standards
  • Support achievement of daily and monthly production targets, including priority products

Requirements

  • Good supervisory, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • OND/HND/BSc in Food Science, Production, or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in bakery or QSR production
  • Inventory management.
