Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with strong knowledge of tax laws and computation.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with relevant tax regulations, and accurately preparing tax returns and financial statements.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Compute and file various taxes including VAT, PAYE, Company Income Tax, and WHT.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Liaise with tax authorities and respond to queries or audits.
• Analyze financial data and identify discrepancies or areas for improvement.
• Process invoices, receipts, and payments in line with accounting procedures.
• Reconcile bank statements and accounts regularly.
• Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and accounting standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree / HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in accounting and tax computation.
• Strong knowledge of tax laws and financial regulations.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

Salary
N180,000 - N250,000 Monthly.
