Job Title: Wildlife Officer
Location: Abeokuta, Ogun

Job Summary
- The ideal candidate will supervise keeper teams, ensure excellent animal welfare standards, support veterinary care, and maintain high-quality husbandry practices across assigned sections.
- Supervise daily feeding, cleaning, and enrichment routines.
- Maintain accurate records of feeding, health, breeding, and enrichment activities.
- Ensure enclosures meet OOPL safety, hygiene, and welfare requirements.
- Support visitors education and ensure compliance with park rules.
- Guiding visitors on tour Must be brave and diligent
- Monitor animal health, behaviour, and report abnormalities promptly.
- Lead and train junior keepers, ensuring adherence to safety and welfare standards.
- Assist veterinarians during treatments, checks, and animal movements.
Requirements
- HND / B.Sc. in Wildlife Management, Zoology, Animal Science, or related field.
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying conditions.
- Ability to follow safety protocols and respond to emergencies.
- Experience in zookeeping or wildlife care (experience with diverse species is a strong advantage).
- Strong leadership, communication, and observation skills.
