We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Social Safeguards & Stakeholder Engagement Specialist

Location: Lagos

Role Summary

  • The Social Safeguards Specialist will lead all social assessments, stakeholder consultations, community engagement, gender and inclusion analysis, livelihood assessments, and social safeguard documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead community engagement activities.
  • Conduct gender and vulnerable group analysis. prepare social impact assessments.
  • Support Resettlement Action Plan screening where required.
  • Develop Grievance Redress Mechanisms.
  • Conduct socio-economic baseline studies.
  • Prepare Stakeholder Engagement Plans.
  • Design and facilitate stakeholder consultations.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Sociology, Anthropology, Development Studies, Social Sciences, or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
  • Excellent report writing.
  • Strong facilitation skills.
