We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Social Safeguards & Stakeholder Engagement Specialist

Location: Lagos

Role Summary

The Social Safeguards Specialist will lead all social assessments, stakeholder consultations, community engagement, gender and inclusion analysis, livelihood assessments, and social safeguard documentation.

Responsibilities

Lead community engagement activities.
Conduct gender and vulnerable group analysis. prepare social impact assessments.
Support Resettlement Action Plan screening where required.
Develop Grievance Redress Mechanisms.
Conduct socio-economic baseline studies.
Prepare Stakeholder Engagement Plans.
Design and facilitate stakeholder consultations.

Qualifications

Degree in Sociology, Anthropology, Development Studies, Social Sciences, or related discipline.
Minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
Excellent report writing.
Strong facilitation skills.
