Job Title: Sectional Head, Rawmill

Location: Okpella Plant, Edo

Job Summary

• We are seeking a dedicated Sectional Head, Rawmill at Dangote - Okpella Cement Limited, who will lead the rawmill segment within the mechanical department, responsible for the efficient production and processing of raw materials required for cement manufacturing.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

• Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by Head of Mechanical.
• Ensuring all maintenance activities comply with plant safety policies, environmental regulations, and company standards.
• Conducting root cause analysis of breakdowns and initiating timely repairs to minimize downtime.
• Training new and existing staff on safety procedures, equipment operation, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Designing and implementing preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for all rawmill equipment, such as crushers, conveyors, and grinding mills.
• Preparing monthly reports on equipment condition, maintenance activities, and production output for management review.
• Monitoring rawmill performance metrics and adjusting operational parameters to achieve consistent quality and production targets.
• Supervising a team of technicians, operators, and maintenance personnel to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Collaborating with the quality assurance team to resolve material-related issues and optimize rawmix composition.

Requirements
Education and Work Experience:

• Minimum of fifteen (15) years of progressive experience in cement plant operations with at least 5 years in a supervisory role in the raw mill section.
• Bachelor`s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent.
