Talent Factory - Our client, a leading hospitality group (an International Hotel Group), is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sales Manager

Locations: Abuja and Lagos

Responsibilities

  • Drive business development by securing corporate accounts, government contracts, travel agencies, event planners, and key commercial partnerships.
  • Increase revenue from rooms, banqueting, conferences, events, food and beverage, and other hotel services.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to identify new revenue opportunities.
  • Work closely with Operations to ensure seamless delivery of client expectations and exceptional guest experiences.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to execute promotional campaigns and brand visibility initiatives.
  • Represent the Hotelat industry events, networking forums, exhibitions, and trade shows.
  • Lead, coach, and manage the hotel sales team to deliver high performance and exceed sales objectives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with major clients, ensuring repeat business and long-term partnerships.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue, occupancy, and profitability targets.
  • Prepare annual sales budgets, forecasts, and periodic performance reports for management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing strategies, and contractual agreements.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales and revenue targets.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and hotel property management systems is an advantage.
  • 4–7 years' progressive sales experience in the hospitality industry
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related discipline.
  • Excellent analytical, presentation, and communication abilities.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, business development, and stakeholder management skills.
