We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sales, Business Development & Partnerships Regional Manager

Locations: Port Harcourt - Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Cross River, Delta and Edo
Employment Type: Full-time

Description

  • The successful candidate will lead regional sales initiatives, expand our merchant, agent, and aggregator network, establish strategic partnerships, and drive the adoption of WayaBank, WayaQuick, and Wayagram solutions.
  • We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales, Business Development & Partnerships Regional Manager to drive business growth across the South South region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor team performance and prepare weekly and monthly business reports.
  • Achieve assigned sales, partnership, and business growth targets.
  • Drive customer acquisition, merchant onboarding, and revenue growth across the region.
  • Recruit, onboard, and manage Business Development Officers, Aggregators, Agents, and Merchants.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with government institutions, corporate organizations, and key business stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement regional sales, business development, and partnership strategies.

Requirements

  • Membership or certification with the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) will be an added advantage.
  • Proven experience within the FinTech, Banking, Payment Services, Agency Banking, Telecommunications, or FMCG sectors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Microsoft Excel, and Zoho CRM.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, relationship management, business development, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Banking, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Sales, Business Development, Partnerships, or Commercial Management, with at least 2 years' experience in a leadership role.
