Description

• We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales, Business Development & Partnerships Regional Manager to drive business growth across the South East region.
• The successful candidate will lead regional sales initiatives, expand our merchant, agent, and aggregator network, establish strategic partnerships, and drive the adoption of WayaBank, WayaQuick, and Wayagram solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive customer acquisition, merchant onboarding, and revenue growth across the region.
• Recruit, onboard, and manage Business Development Officers, Aggregators, Agents, and Merchants.
• Achieve assigned sales, partnership, and business growth targets.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with government institutions, corporate organizations, and key business stakeholders.
• Monitor team performance and prepare weekly and monthly business reports.
• Develop and implement regional sales, business development, and partnership strategies.

Performance Target (First Month)
To qualify for monthly salary payment, the successful candidate must achieve the following minimum performance targets within the first month of engagement:

• Onboard and activate 500 Merchants and Agents, with each Merchant/Agent processing a minimum of 20 successful transactions per day.
• Onboard and activate 70 Aggregators, with each Aggregator managing a minimum of 500 active Merchants and Agents.
• Ensure all onboarded Aggregators, Merchants, and Agents are fully KYC-compliant, active, and consistently transacting in accordance with the Company's operational standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in Sales, Business Development, Partnerships, or Commercial Management, with at least 2 years' experience in a leadership role.
• Proven experience within the FinTech, Banking, Payment Services, Agency Banking, Telecommunications, or FMCG sectors.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Microsoft Excel, and Zoho CRM.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, relationship management, business development, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Banking, or a related field.
• Membership or certification with the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) will be an added advantage.
