Job Position: Sales and Logistics Officer

Summary
- We are looking for a Sales and Logistics Officer who willdriverevenue and ensures the seamless delivery of goods.
- Responsibilities include processing customer orders, managing inventory, coordinating shipments with freight carriers, and collaborating with the sales team to meet delivery timelines and customer satisfaction targets
Key Responsibilities
Sales Support & Customer Service:
- Process customer orders, issue invoices, and manage price lists.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients to resolve delivery issues or service disruptions.
- Collaborate with the ?Sales Team to forecast demand and secure repeat business.
Logistics & Distribution:
- Coordinate and track shipments from suppliers to warehouses or end-customers.
- Plan transportation routes and negotiate rates with carriers and freight forwarders to minimize costs.
- Prepare and manage shipping documentation (Bills of Lading, packing lists, and proof of delivery).
- Track Goods in Transit (GIT) and intervene to eliminate route inefficiencies or shipping delays
Inventory Management:
- Monitor stock levels to prevent overstocking or stock-outs.
- Reconcile inventory discrepancies and maintain accurate data in company
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Experience: 3–5 years of proven experience in logistics, sales operations, or order management.
- Applicant must be resident in Akure.
- Skills: Strong negotiation and organizational skills, proficiency in ?Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to analyze data.
- Competencies: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and a customer-focused mindset
