Job Summary

• We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Recruitment Specialist to support our human resources operations.
• The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience across core HR functions, managing the entire recruitment process, from job posting to onboarding, ensuring a smooth hiring experience for both candidates and the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing recruitment strategies and procedures in alignment with the organization's objectives.
• Working closely with hiring managers to define job requirements, roles, and responsibilities.
• Writing and posting job descriptions on various platforms to attract qualified candidates.
• Screening and shortlisting candidates based on established criteria.
• Conducting initial interviews and coordinating follow-up interviews with team leaders or direct supervisors.
• Managing the job offer process, including negotiating employment terms and finalizing offers.
• Organizing and participating in job fairs and recruitment events to build a strong employer brand.
• Keeping up-to-date with the latest trends in recruitment and employment practices.
• Maintaining a database of potential candidates for future job openings.
• Ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations regarding employment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a generalist HR role
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Professional certification in Human Resources is a plus.
• Proven experience in recruitment or a similar role, with a track record of successful hiring campaigns.
• Proficiency in using HR software and candidate management systems.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good understanding of Nigerian labor laws and HR practices
• High level of organization and attention to detail
