Job Description

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Reconciliation Account Officer to join our team in Ibadan.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records by performing regular account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies promptly.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly account reconciliations
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records
• Ensure all transactions are accurately recorded and properly documented
• Reconcile bank statements with internal records
• Prepare reconciliation reports and present findings to management
• Monitor accounts to identify irregularities or inconsistencies
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve financial issues
• Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for all reconciliations
• Support audits by providing required financial data and reports

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2 - 4 years of relevant experience in accounting or reconciliation
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional certification (e.g., ICAN, ACCA) is an added advantage
• Experience in financial services or fintech is a plus.

Salary

• Salary: N200,000 - N250,000 / month.
• Competitive and based on experience.
