Production Auditor

Description

• The ideal candidate must possess strong knowledge of food production, pastries, bakery, or kitchen operations, demonstrate exceptional leadership ability, and maintain the highest standards of integrity and accountability.
• We are seeking to engage a young, vibrant, intelligent, and result-oriented lady to join our Production Team as a Production Auditor.

Key Responsibilities

• Report all irregularities, policy violations, and disciplinary concerns promptly to Management.
• Conduct routine and surprise audits of production processes to identify wastage, leakages, pilferage, and operational inefficiencies.
• Monitor daily production activities across the Bakery, Pastry, and Kitchen units to ensure strict compliance with approved recipes, production procedures, and quality standards.
• Ensure staff comply with company policies, standard recipes, portion control, and operational procedures.
• Investigate customer complaints relating to product quality and recommend corrective actions.
• Carry out physical verification of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products.
• Support Management in improving production efficiency, reducing costs, and maintaining consistent product quality.
• Ensure proper documentation of material requisitions, production records, transfers, and stock movements.
• Verify raw material usage against production output and investigate all production variances.
• Prepare accurate daily, weekly, and monthly production audit reports with recommendations for improvement.
• Monitor adherence to hygiene, food safety, sanitation, and health standards.
• Work closely with Production Supervisors, Inventory Officers, Procurement, and Management to improve productivity and minimize losses.

Requirements

• Excellent analytical and reporting skills with keen attention to detail.
• 5–10 years' relevant experience in food production, bakery, pastries, restaurant operations, quality assurance, or production auditing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Minimum of B.Sc. or HND in Food Technology, Hospitality Management, Home Economics, Catering Management, Nutrition, Business Administration, or any related discipline.
• High level of honesty, integrity, professionalism, and unquestionable character.
• Good leadership and supervisory abilities with the confidence to enforce standards.
• Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
• Strong understanding of food hygiene, quality control, inventory management, and production standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Practical knowledge of bakery, pastry, kitchen, or food production processes.
• Ability to identify operational inefficiencies, wastage, and non-compliance.
