Job Title: Maintenance Manager

Location: Apapa, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a experience Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance of our fleet (trucks).
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and repair processes, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to ensuring the safety and functionality of our Fleet.
  • As Maintenance Manager you will use your excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills to engage your team maintain good morale among your team, and keep your clients happy.

Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, schedule, and audit vehicle maintenance repairs to include preventative, mechanical and electrical repair of trucks etc
  • Monitor associate work levels
  • Manage facilities, assuring a clean and safe working environment
  • Ensure quality, compliance, and safety of company’s assets
  • Control repair, inventory, and labor costs
  • Coach and mentor technicians

Job Skills & Qualifications
Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field
  • 2+ years of fleet maintenance management experience preferred or at least 1 year of team management of technicians and artisans.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and safety.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Experience working with vendors and contractors.
  • Familiarity with budgeting and cost control principles.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Certification in maintenance management or related field is a plus.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and standards related to maintenance operations.
  • Proficiency in maintenance management software and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
