• Design and maintain edge compute on Raspberry Pi CM4/CM5, NVIDIA Jetson, and similar embedded Linux.
• Own hardware selection and validation for new deployments, balancing compute, thermal, cost.
• Architect and maintain systemd services for reliable, observable edge processes.
• Build Docker orchestration for edge CV inference workloads.
• Collaborate with ML/backend/product teams to ensure reliable inference, camera feeds, and POS integration.

• 5+ years of embedded Linux and edge hardware deployment in production.
• AWS IoT Core and Greengrass: provisioning, fleet mgmt, deployment pipelines, OTA.
• Strong Python production-quality services and tooling.
• Fluency with Linux systemd: unit files, dependencies, watchdogs, journald.
• Yocto Project experience for custom embedded Linux distributions.
• Docker: multi-stage builds, resource constraints, networking, and orchestration.
• RTSP camera integration and ONVIF protocol.
• POS or retail transaction system integration.
• NVIDIA Jetson devices (Nano, Orin NX, AGX) for AI inference.
• Raspberry Pi Compute Module CM4/CM5 in production.
• Design for failure: reconnection, degradation, observability, recovery automation.
