We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Kitchen Supervisor

Location: Ojodu Berger, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Reporting Line: General Manager

Job Summary

  • The ideal candidate will ensure cleanliness, proper stock management, timely food preparation, and smooth execution of kitchen and event operations while maintaining high standards of professionalism and efficiency.
  • We are seeking a responsible, organized, and proactive Kitchen Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, stores, and general coordination of food service activities.

Key Responsibilities
Office & Facility Management:

  • Ensure the office environment is clean, organized, and properly maintained.
  • Supervise staff responsible for cleanliness and ensure tasks are carried out effectively.
  • Ensure all refrigerators are properly cleaned, arranged, and managed at all times.

Kitchen & Store Management:

  • Prepare kitchen supply lists and supervise market purchases.
  • Verify and confirm all purchased items to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Ensure both indoor and outdoor stores are neat, properly arranged, and well-maintained.
  • Maintain accurate stock records and monitor inventory levels.

Event & Food Service Coordination:

  • Ensure smooth coordination of kitchen operations during events and catering services.
  • Ensure all food points are fully set up and ready on time for events.
  • Supervise proper food presentation and garnishing of menus.

General Administration:

  • Ensure all bowl orders, planners’ meals, and clients’ meals are properly prepared and delivered promptly.
  • Provide timely operational updates and reports when required.
  • Carry out directives from management effectively and professionally.
  • Handle market runs and other assigned errands as needed.
  • Perform other related duties assigned by the General Manager.

Requirements

  • Good organizational and leadership skills.
  • Must be responsible, proactive, and detail-oriented.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Previous experience in kitchen supervision, catering operations, or hospitality management is an added advantage.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to manage stock and maintain proper records.
  • Strong attention to cleanliness and food presentation.

Working Conditions:

  • Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends when necessary.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced catering and hospitality environment.

Salary
N130,000 - N150,000 monthly.
