Job Summary

• We are seeking a motivated and detail oriented Junior Software Developer to join our technology team.
• The ideal candidate will assist in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications while working closely with senior developers and cross functional teams.
• This role is ideal for someone eager to build technical expertise and contribute to innovative software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, testing, and maintaining web, mobile, or desktop applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code under the guidance of senior developers.
• Participate in software design, code reviews, and debugging activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Integrate APIs and third-party services into applications.
• Maintain and update existing software systems to improve functionality and performance.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Prepare technical documentation and user guides where required.
• Stay updated with emerging software development technologies, tools, and best practices.

Requirements

• OND, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in software development (internship experience is an added advantage).
• Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, PHP, or similar.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Knowledge of Agile development methodology is an added advantage.

Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 / month.
