Job Title: HR/Admin Manager

Location: Mbaise, Imo
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a proven track record in HR and administration, with the ability to manage workforce operations, ensure compliance, and drive organizational effectiveness.
  • The organization is seeking an experienced and proactive HR/Admin Manager to oversee human resources and administrative functions.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee procurement and management of office supplies and administrative resources.
  • Coordinate training, learning, and staff development initiatives.
  • Supervise administrative operations and office management activities.
  • Develop and implement organizational policies, procedures, and structures.
  • Develop and maintain HR metrics and dashboards to support decision-making.
  • Drive employee engagement and workplace culture initiatives.
  • Lead performance management processes, including appraisals and employee development plans.
  • Prepare HR and administrative reports for management review.
  • Manage employee confirmation, promotion, transfer, and exit processes.
  • Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive employee information.
  • Monitor staff productivity and recommend improvement strategies.
  • Support workforce planning and organizational development initiatives.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations activities.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory requirements, and organizational policies.
  • Support management in implementing strategic HR initiatives and organizational goals.
  • Coordinate payroll inputs and ensure the accuracy of employee records.
  • Manage employee records, attendance, leave, and performance documentation.
  • Liaise with external vendors, regulatory agencies, and service providers when required.
  • Handle disciplinary matters, grievance management, and conflict resolution.

Requirements

  • Minimum Educational Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related discipline.
  • Experience Baseline: Minimum of 3 years' experience in Human Resources and Administration, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HR documentation. Experience using HR software, HRIS platforms, or employee management systems is an added advantage.
  • Core HR Knowledge: Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and employee relations, alongside experience developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work effectively under pressure, work independently, and make sound decisions.
  • Strong attention to detail and a strict ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing abilities.

Remuneration

  • Salary: N300,000 – N400,000
  • Accommodation: Provided
