Job Title: HR Manager

Location: Asaba, Delta
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • Our client is seeking to hire an experienced HR Manager to lead and manage all human resource functions while supporting business objectives.
  • The ideal candidate will have proven experience within a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of workforce planning, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and HR operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage employee relations, disciplinary matters, grievance handling, and conflict resolution.
  • Prepare HR reports, analyze workforce metrics, and provide recommendations to management.
  • Oversee end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and talent management processes.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with organizational goals.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture while promoting health, safety, and employee well-being.
  • Oversee payroll inputs, leave administration, HR records, and other HR operational activities.
  • Partner with department heads to support manpower planning and organizational development.
  • Drive performance management, learning and development, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws, company policies, and statutory regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 7–10 years' HR experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role within a manufacturing company.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS/payroll systems.
  • Experience managing large operational or factory-based workforces.
  • CIPM or other relevant HR certification is an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws, HR best practices, and performance management.
