Job Summary

• We’re looking for a detail-oriented, people-first *HR Assistant* to support our HR team and help our employees thrive.

Job Description

• We’re hiring an *HR Assistant* to join our People/HR team. You’ll be the go-to support for employee queries, recruitment, onboarding, and HR admin. This is a perfect entry-level role for a young graduate who wants to grow in HR.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment Support: Post job ads, screen CVs, schedule interviews, and coordinate with candidates
• Onboarding & Offboarding: Prepare offer letters, contracts, onboarding kits, and exit processes
• HR Administration: Maintain employee records, HR files, and HRIS data accurately
• Employee Support: Respond to HR-related queries and direct them to the right person
• Payroll Support: Assist with attendance tracking, leave management, and payroll data collection
• Compliance: Help ensure HR policies and labor law requirements are followed
• Engagement: Support in organizing staff events, training, and internal communications
• Reporting: Prepare HR reports, headcount data, and other HR metrics as needed

Requirements

• Education: B.Sc/HND in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field
• Experience: 0-2 years of experience. NYSC candidates and fresh graduates are welcome

Skills:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and Word. HRIS experience is a plus
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Discretion and ability to handle confidential information
• Good problem-solving and time management skills
• Traits: People-oriented, proactive, and professionals.
