We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Fluids Engineer

Location: Warri, Delta
SBU: Scorpio Drilling

Purpose

Responsible for the design of drilling mud and completion fluids.

Responsibilities

Prepare daily mud reports and comprehensive end-of-well summaries.
Conduct daily fluid checks for density, viscosity, gel strengths, salinity, and solids control to keep mud properties within the target drilling window.
Ensure strict adherence to environmental and safety regulations regarding chemical handling and waste management.
Designs, tests, and maintains drilling and completion fluid systems on an oil or gas rig.
Adjust mud parameters to maintain Equivalent Circulating Density (ECD) and prevent kicks or lost circulation.
They prevent wellbore instability, control downhole pressures, and ensure safe drilling by constantly monitoring mud weight, viscosity, and chemical properties.
