Job Summary
- We are seeking a courteous, reliable, and professional Hotel Porter to join our team.
- The Hotel Porter is responsible for assisting guests with their luggage, escorting guests to their rooms, providing information about hotel facilities, and ensuring a welcoming and positive guest experience from arrival to departure.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure.
- Assist guests with carrying and transporting luggage to and from their rooms.
- Escort guests to their rooms and explain hotel amenities and services.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries.
- Assist with loading and unloading guest belongings from vehicles.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lobby, entrance, and luggage storage areas.
- Deliver messages, packages, and other items to guest rooms when required.
- Provide directions and information about local attractions, transportation, and hotel facilities.
- Support the front desk and other departments as needed.
- Ensure guest safety and security by following hotel policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum of SSCE / High School Certificate or equivalent.
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude.
- Physical ability to lift and carry luggage.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Good knowledge of hotel operations and guest service standards.
