Job Title: Accounting Assistant

Location: Lagos Island, Lagos

Job Responsibilities
The Accounting officer will be assigned the following primary responsibilities, among others:

• Daily Entries: Process and post daily financial transactions, including invoices, payments, and journal entries.
• Accounting Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
• Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing financial reports, reconciliations, and analysis.
• Data Entry: Enter financial data into accounting systems accurately and efficiently.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• National Diploma in Accounting or Accounting Technician qualification (e.g., ICAN, AAT).
• 1-2 years of experience in accounting or related fields.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics).Excellent analytical and numerical skills.

Skills:

• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic accounting knowledge and understanding of financial principles.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
