Established in August 2011, SHIN has a fabrication and integration yard in Lagos. This facility is notable as Africa's first-ever and only Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) integration yard.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: 300-ton & 600-ton Crawler Crane Operator

Location: Ladol, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Core Responsibilities

Duties & Responsibilities	300-Ton Crawler Crane Operator	600-Ton Crawler Crane Operator
Operation	Safe, smooth operation of cranes up to 300T. Handling standard configuration boom and fixed jibs.	Masterful operation of cranes up to 600T. Managing highly complex configurations (Luffing jibs, Superlift/Skyhorse attachments).
Assembly & Setup	Assisting assembly crews with track installation, counterweights, and boom pinning.	Leading the complex assembly/disassembly of mega-cranes, managing multiple assist cranes and extensive counterweight trays.
Lift Planning	Reading and executing standard engineered lift plans. Basic understanding of ground bearing pressures.	Active participation in Critical Lift Planning sessions. Thorough understanding of complex ground pressure calculations and matting requirements for immense loads.
Inspections	Performing daily pre-operational inspections on rigging, wire ropes, and mechanical systems.	Conducting rigorous pre-lift inspections, specifically monitoring superlift structural integrity and high-capacity multi-part line reeving.
Communication	Clear coordination with signal persons via hand signals and dedicated radio channels.	Managing complex communications during tandem or multi-crane lifts alongside engineering teams.
