Job Brief
- We are looking for a skilled and innovative Web Developer/Social Media Manager who will be responsible for developing and maintaining the company's/clients website, managing our social media platforms, creating engaging content, and driving online brand visibility.
- The ideal candidate should possess a combination of technical web development expertise and digital marketing skills.
Key Responsibilities
Web Development:
- Design, develop, maintain, and optimize the company's website.
- Ensure website responsiveness, functionality, and security.
- Regularly update website content, products, services, and company information.
- Implement SEO best practices to improve search engine rankings and website traffic.
- Monitor website performance and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Manage hosting, domain configurations, backups, and website security.
- Integrate third-party applications, APIs, forms, and payment solutions where necessary.
- Generate and analyze website performance reports.
Social Media Management:
- Develop and implement effective social media strategies.
- Create, design, and publish engaging content across all social media platforms.
- Manage daily activities on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), TikTok, and other relevant platforms.
- Grow the company's online audience and engagement.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities.
- Respond professionally to customer inquiries, messages, and comments.
- Plan and execute social media advertising campaigns.
- Produce monthly performance and analytics reports.
- Collaborate with internal teams to promote products, services, events, and company initiatives.
Requirements:
Educational Qualifications
- HND / B.Sc. in Computer Science, Information Technology, Marketing, Mass Communication, Digital Media, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in web development and social media management.
- Demonstrable portfolio of websites and social media campaigns managed.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress.
- Basic knowledge of PHP and website hosting management.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and website optimization.
- Experience with graphic design tools such as Canva, Photoshop, or similar software.
- Familiarity with social media management and analytics tools.
Competencies:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong creativity and content development abilities.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
