Job Position: Operations Intern

Job Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos

About the Role


  • We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Internto support our professional cleaning operations.
  • This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in site supervision, cleaning service delivery, and operational management.
  • The successful candidate will work closely with the Site Manager and Operations Manager, contributing to both supervisory and hands-on cleaning tasks while developing practical industry skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in coordinating daily cleaning operations across assigned sites
  • Support supervision of janitors to ensure adherence to cleaning standards and schedules
  • Participate in routine cleaning activities where required
  • Monitor cleanliness standards and report on service quality and site conditions
  • Assist in conducting site inspections to ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards
  • Support documentation, reporting, and record-keeping of site activities
  • Help track cleaning materials and equipment usage
  • Attend site meetings and provide administrative support

Requirements

  • Basic understanding of cleaning operations or facility management (preferred)
  • Academic background in Environmental Health, Public Health, or a related field (preferred)
  • Knowledge of workplace hygiene, sanitation, and safety practices
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Attention to detail and quality control
  • Willingness to engage in both supervisory and hands-on cleaning tasks
  • Ability to learn quickly and work effectively within a team
  • Proactive mindset and adaptability to dynamic work environments.
