• Establish and own Figure's foundational tax function across pillars.
• Manage federal, state, and local tax returns with external advisors.
• Lead review of quarterly and annual ASC 740 tax provisions and disclosures.
• Evaluate tax implications of new business lines and digital assets.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Legal, and Finance teams.
• Monitor evolving domestic tax laws and IRS regulations.

• 7+ years of progressive corporate tax experience with Big 4 or top-tier public accounting.
• Active CPA license preferred.
• Deep knowledge of ASC 740, US GAAP, and federal/state tax compliance.
• Strong interest in fintech, digital assets, or blockchain-based products.
• Proven ability to work with large financial datasets and automate workflows.
• A high-ownership mindset with a track record of driving projects end-to-end.
