SkoolWisely is an early-stage startup helping schools collect payments, manage student records, manage payrolls and automate admin tasks. We are growing fast and looking for our first sales hire to help us bring our product to more schools across Nigeria.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sales Executive (Early Stage Startup)

Location: Warri, Delta
Employment Type: Full-time

What You Will Do

  • Identify and contact schools that would benefit from our product
  • Build lasting relationships with school clients after the sale
  • Report your activity and pipeline weekly to the founder
  • Book and attend meetings or calls with school proprietors and administrators
  • Help shape our sales process as an early team member
  • Send proposals, follow up, and close deals
  • Present and demonstrate our product to decision makers

What We Are Looking For

  • Honest: We value integrity above all — with customers and internally
  • Mindset: Self-starter who can work independently without hand-holding
  • Resilience: Comfortable with rejection and able to keep going
  • Organised: Tracks leads, follows up consistently, and submits reports on time
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication in English (and local language where relevant)
  • Experience: 1–3 years in sales, (if you have experience in an early-stage startup or experience selling to schools/education sector, it is an added advantage)

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with basic CRM or Google Sheets tracking
  • Existing network within schools in your area
  • Prior experience selling to schools, proprietors, or education businesses

What We Offer

  • Tiered commission: 5% on first 3 deals/month, 8% on deals 6–10, 15% on 11+
  • Be one of the earliest employees at a growing startup
  • N80,000 to N100,000 base salary per month

  • Opportunity to grow into a senior sales or team lead role as we expand.
