Remote Sr. Electrical Design and Technology Expert (Remote)

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Electrical Innovation Specialist - REMOTE. In this role, you will be a key player in advancing the corporate BIM team's efforts to innovate and improve efficiency within the electrical construction industry. You will work collaboratively with various stakeholders and will be responsible for employing your problem-solving skills to streamline processes. By supporting the training and development of team members and leveraging technology, you will help ensure operational excellence across the organization. Your contributions will not only meet critical deadlines but also align with the company's vision of maintaining a leader status in the construction space.

Accountabilities

• Fosters a corporate culture that models values of safety, honesty, respect, innovation, and collaboration.
• Provides technical support and analysis to local operating companies regarding prefabrication opportunities.
• Assists in providing training to electrical contractors through both live and virtual sessions.
• Develops and maintains an electrical database for operational efficiency.
• Encourages team development and sharing of best practices across branch locations.
• Supports in-house software plug-in creation, testing, and training of electrical teams.
• Assists in development and training of proprietary cloud software and services.
• Collaborates with local BIM leaders to draft and execute operational plans.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in the Electrical construction industry.
• Over 5 years of experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes.
• Proficient in electrical design, modeling, detailing, and prefabrication.
• Familiarity with Autodesk products such as Revit and Navisworks.
• Experience with Microsoft products including Power BI.
• Ability to build and maintain Revit Families.
• Basic knowledge of Dynamo programming in Revit is a plus.
• Familiarity with C# coding or software plug-ins is advantageous.
