Senior Backend Engineer

• Execute end-to-end integrations with lodgings, cars and GDS partners.
• Write clean, performant Scala or JVM code for lodging services.
• Explore codebases and troubleshoot infrastructure to resolve production issues.
• Partner with PMs/Operations to decompose requirements and estimate timelines.
• Own end-to-end development lifecycle for new features, from implementation to deployment.
• Design resilient, low-latency services for high-load bookings.

???? Requirements

• Proficiency in Scala or JVM languages (Java/Kotlin) for scalable services.
• Proven ownership of features from implementation to deployment in microservices.
• Experience with distributed systems and gRPC, Pub/Sub, REST.
• Ability to onboard quickly and handle ambiguity with independent planning.
• Excellent communication and bias for action in remote teams.
• Curiosity for travel tech with focus on reliable booking fulfillment.
