Job Summary

  • We are seeking a proactive, sales-driven, and customer-focused Relationship Officer (Female) for gender balance to join our growing team.

Job Description

  • The Relationship Officer will be responsible for acquiring new clients, maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, mobilizing investment funds, promoting the company's financial products, and supporting loan generation activities.
  • The ideal candidate will possess excellent sales, communication, and relationship management skills with a strong passion for delivering value to clients while achieving business growth targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Increase revenue by cross-selling and upselling financial products.
  • Conduct periodic relationship reviews to improve customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Source qualified loan customers.
  • Generate new business opportunities through referrals, networking, cold calling, and strategic partnerships.
  • Serve as the primary contact for assigned clients.
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospective clients.
  • Guide prospective borrowers through the application process.
  • Promote the company's investment, lending, and financial advisory products.
  • Provide timely responses to client inquiries and resolve complaints professionally.
  • Prepare and execute client engagement strategies to improve business performance.
  • Identify and acquire new individual, SME, corporate, and institutional clients.
  • Liaise with internal teams to facilitate efficient loan processing and disbursement.
  • Consistently achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Develop long-term relationships with clients by understanding their financial goals.
  • Assist clients in selecting suitable investment products based on their financial objectives.
  • Educate clients on available investment opportunities and wealth creation solutions.
  • Monitor assigned loan accounts and support collections where necessary.
  • Drive deposit mobilization and investment portfolio growth.

Customer Experience:

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities.
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer information.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service at every touchpoint.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales performance reports.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and compliance during client onboarding.

Requirements
Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree or HND in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, Banking, Accounting, or any related discipline.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in relationship management, sales, business development, banking, investment, insurance, fintech, or financial services.
  • Proven experience in client acquisition and portfolio management is highly desirable.
