About the Role

• Your goal is to elevate our reputation as a trusted leader in medical diagnostics.
• As the voice and brand ambassador of our laboratory, you will be responsible for managing internal and external communications, building a positive brand image, and maintaining strong relationships with the media, corporate partners, regulatory bodies, and the public.
• Agape Laboratories Services is seeking an articulate, proactive, and strategic Public Relations Officer (PRO).

Key Responsibilities
Brand Reputation & Media Relations:

• Develop and execute PR campaigns that promote Agape Laboratories’ diagnostic excellence, accreditation milestones, and health initiatives.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for media inquiries, draft press releases, and manage media coverage for laboratory events or breakthroughs.
• Monitor public perception, industry news, and social conversations to protect and enhance the laboratory's reputation.

Corporate Communications & Content Creation:

• Write engaging articles, health awareness posts, and corporate announcements that translate complex medical information into accessible public knowledge.
• Collaborate with internal teams (such as marketing and medical scientists) to ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels.
• Oversee the laboratory's digital presence, including creating content for the website, newsletters, and official social media handles.

Stakeholder & Community Engagement:

• Build and sustain positive relationships with community leaders, regulatory agencies, healthcare associations, and corporate clients.
• Organize and coordinate corporate events, health outreach programs, seminars, and facility tours for stakeholders.
• Manage customer feedback channels, ensuring complaints are addressed professionally and public crises or misunderstandings are mitigated swiftly.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Mass Communication, Public Relations, International Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
• Experience: 1–4 years of proven experience in public relations, corporate communications, or media management (experience in the healthcare industry is an added advantage).
• Membership in a professional PR body (e.g., NIPR) is preferred but not mandatory.

Skills & Competencies:

• Ability to work under pressure and handle sensitive or confidential medical information with integrity.
• Strong crisis management, problem-solving, and emotional intelligence skills.
• Excellent presentation and public speaking abilities.
• Proficiency in digital PR tools, social media management, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a portfolio of written content (press releases, articles, or copy).

What We Offer (Remuneration)

• Salary: N70,000 – N150,000 Monthly (Commensurate with experience and qualifications).
