Siperco Nigeria Limited is currently recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:

Job Position: Process Engineer

Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities
Process Design & Engineering:

• Develop and review Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), Heat and Material Balances (HMBs), and Process Design Basis documents.
• Perform process simulations, hydraulic calculations, and equipment sizing using industry-standard software.
• Prepare process datasheets and technical specifications for process equipment.
• Develop process philosophies, operating procedures, and design calculations.
• Ensure process designs meet safety, operability, reliability, and environmental requirements.

Process Optimization:

• Analyze plant performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, product quality, energy consumption, and throughput.
• Monitor key process parameters and recommend corrective actions to optimize production.
• Support troubleshooting of process upsets and operational challenges.
• Conduct debottlenecking studies and recommend process improvements.

Equipment & System Engineering:
Provide process engineering support for:

• Reactors
• Distillation Columns
• Heat Exchangers
• Pumps and Compressor

Procurement & Vendor Support:

• Prepare process equipment specifications and material requisitions.
• Review vendor technical proposals and process calculations.
• Participate in technical bid evaluations (TBEs).
• Resolve technical queries from suppliers and contractors.
• Review vendor documentation for compliance with project requirements.
• Participate in plant performance testing and acceptance activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or Process Engineering.
• 10–12 years of experience in process engineering .
